Can We Sell To Just Anyone?

Gunold Canada sells wholesale embroidery supplies to the trade only. We do not sell to home hobbyists. If you qualify as a business, before your first purchase, we need you to download these simple forms. Then, send the completed forms to us prior to your first purchase either by fax (604-261-2240 or 1-888-261-2240), or by email sales@gunold.ca. Return Policy

No merchandise may be returned for credit without prior authorization. Returns for credit on account only. No merchandise will be accepted for credit after 30 days from the date of its invoice. All merchandise for credit must be unused. For cones of thread - the original plastic wrap must be on the cone. For spools of thread - only complete boxes of 10 spools can be accepted for credit. All returns are subject to a restocking charge.


Terms of Sale and Related Policies

  • We accept VISA, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover.
  • Customers with established credit may purchase on terms of “net 30 days”. Overdue accounts may lead to delayed delivery and may be switched to C.O.D. accounts without prior notice. Any account with a balance more than 30 days overdue will be charged interest at 1 ½ %/month. (18% per annum).
  • NSF cheques will incur a $40.00 fee.
  • All prices are subject to change without notice.
  • All goods will be invoiced at prices on date of shipment.
  • We reserve title to the goods delivered pending payment in full.

Embroidery Thread Suitability Statement

The customer/manufacturer should assure himself, by preliminary testing and evaluation, that the dye fastness of the thread is suitable for his/her intended use. Gunold threads are manufactured and quality controlled to the very highest standards possible. However, since we have no control over washing, dry cleaning, pressing or weather conditions (when used on an article or item that will remain exposed to the elements), and since the value of the thread is so disproportional to the value of the material onto which it is sewn, we are not responsible for any damage that could occur.
